Hope’s Credentials
Hope, a rescued Shepard Mix from Midnight Run Rescue in Rhode Island, began her service dog training in 2021 at just four months old. She worked with Service Dog Training Questions LLC in Burnsville, RI, an organization that trains dogs of all ages to assist handlers with disabilities. In the fall of 2022, a fundraising effort by LGBTQIA+ performers at the Alley Cat in Providence, RI, with support from numerous local businesses within and outside the LGBT/art community, provided crucial funding for her continued training. Early in 2024, Paws N Play in Norton, MA, further enhanced Hope’s confidence through daily field trips to various environments, allowing her natural strengths to truly emerge.
Hope possesses a natural charisma and a remarkable ability to create a welcoming and safe atmosphere. During Jeremiah Sky Daniels, LMT’s massage therapy training at Lincoln Technical Institute in late 2024, Hope played a vital role in both the curriculum and extracurricular activities, even being featured on the institute's social media. She gained valuable experience interacting with clients during hands-on and clinical training with the public, becoming one of the first service dogs in the program to be recognized during the pinning ceremony.
We are incredibly proud to have Hope as a cornerstone of Blessed Be Mind & Body. We hope she has as positive an impact on your life as she has had on everyone she has encountered throughout her journey.
